Time
We all are used to people saying, “We don’t bring anything to this world.” But I beg to differ. We do bring something really precious with us.
Time!
Some have more. Some less. But all have with us - ‘Time’.
Don’t we agree that the time we have is fully at our sole disposal? The same ten minutes is spent differently by every single person in this world. Few manage to shine, while the others crib about having no time.
Well, time is many things.
It is a Healer - Wounds, both on the body and soul, heal with time.
It is a Teacher - Different life situations we face through time become our life lessons, which teach us more than great universities.
It is the Best gift - Time you spend with your loved ones is the biggest gift you can give them.
It is the Most precious thing - So precious, that we say we ‘spend’ time like how we spend money or gold. But unlike money or gold, time once spent can never be brought back.
I was recently watching a game of ball. The game went on really well and one of the teams won. At the end, one tall girl from the losing side, was complaining that she didn’t get the ball. For that, her coach had a beautiful reply. “All you did in the game was to look at the ball pass from side to side. Neither did you move, nor did you attempt to intervene. Just looking at the ball won’t make you score.”
So is our life. Just letting time pass by and waiting for the ‘right time’ won’t get us anywhere. We are to ‘spend’ it wisely.
Like how it goes,
The way we spend our time, defines who we are
